That's the farthest thing from the truth. I love it! I see the value of it. The issue is what my end-users are going to be coming back to me with. "Why is the client so slow to start up and shut down?" My internal test subjects are all people that are either on the Help Desk or have been involved with end-user support. Not just regular IS people. People that know what our users like and don't like and the time to start up the client and even to shut it down so they don't get an error on the Notes2w.exe if they go to shut down their PC right after closing Notes, is too slow. But with the help of the community, it's acting much better now.Andy Donaldsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14295083854547806440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5685203.post-23688972330141987812008-11-11T22:00:00.000-05:002008-11-11T22:00:00.000-05:00Use Notes 8.0.2. I have 8.0.2 and it flies. I have 3 GB of RAM but I am also running VMware server with at least one virtual machine running at all times. I thought the jvm properties change would be living dangerously but I haven't seen any issues for the month I have been running with it.Jim Casalehttp://www.jimcasale.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5685203.post-75110992140427880392008-11-10T19:43:00.000-05:002008-11-10T19:43:00.000-05:00WOW! 2 GB of RAM and it's still slow?
